Projets CLILLAC-ARP Dans le cadre de l’ANR EMCO Emphiline Mots clés : Organisation du discours, Segmentation textuelle, linguistiques de corpus, traitements automatiques, gestion de base de données Le travail comportera deux volets : l’annotation manuelle des corpus  (segmentation de textes en unités discursives et définition des relations discursives) et la gestion de la base de données du projet. L’annotation visera à modéliser l’impact de l’inattendu sur la syntaxe et l’organisation discursive dans l’interaction verbale en anglais et en français. La personne recrutée aura à concevoir la base de données linguistiques (conception des formulaires de requêtes pour l’annotation, contribution au manuel d’annotation et participation à l’annotation, exportation des annotations). Compétences requises : - Formation en Traitement Automatique des Langues ; - Programmation en Perl ou Python ; maîtrise de l’interface GLOZZ et de PRAAT - Bonnes connaissances en bases de données (MySQL) - Bonnes connaissances en technologies Web (HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.) ; Le candidat idéal aura la capacité d’allier trois perspectives :  une perspective TAL, une perspective linguistique, et une perspective cognitive permettant de décrire les processus mis en œuvre dans la production  et l’interprétation des structures discursives. Etude (en laboratoire) voyelles du français

Dans le cadre d'une étude menée par Jacqueline Vaissière sur la réalisation des sons vocaliques du français, nous sommes à la recherche d'hommes dont le français est la langue maternelle. L'étude consistera en des enregistrements d'environ 15 minutes maximum au total. Cette base de données sera disponible au terme de l'étude.

Consignes d'examen: un mobile n'est pas une montre

De nouvelles consignes d'examen sont actuellement mises en place par la DEVU.

Il est important de noter que les téléphones portables ne sont plus autorisés, même pour servir de montre. Il faut donc prévoir de vous munir de montres/réveils.

Expérience en ligne: généricité

Dans le cadre d'un projet sur la généricité [ce n'est pas grave si vous ne savez pas ce que c'est!], on cherche des locuteurs du français pour participer à une expérience.

Il suffit de se rendre sur ce lien.



Présentation:
Cette étude s'inscrit dans le cadre d'un projet de recherche en linguistique théorique et expérimentale. Nous recherchons des participants adultes francophones natifs, c'est-à-dire qui ont au moins le français comme une de leurs langues maternelles.

Procédure:
Dans ce sondage, il est  demandé aux participants d'évaluer des phrases. Les consignes sont rappelées au début du sondage. Le questionnaire comporte 50 questions et il faut en moyenne 10 minutes pour le compléter. Il n'est pas possible d'interrompre le test pour le terminer plus tard, les participants doivent donc s'assurer d'avoir environ 10 minutes à leur disposition. Cette étude n'a rien à voir avec un test d'intelligence, il n'y a pas de bonnes ou mauvaises réponses, et il est demandé aux participants de répondre le plus spontanément possible.

Risques:
Cette étude ne comporte aucun risque.

Bénéfices:
Les participants de cette étude ne retirent aucun bénéfice direct. Cependant on espère que grâce à leur participation les chercheurs de l'IJN-CNRS et du L2C2 CNRS récolteront des données utiles pour l'étude de la généricité.

Confidentialité:
Toutes les données obtenues sont confidentielles, et ne seront utilisées que regroupées, aucune donnée individuelle ne pourra être utilisée.

Participation:
La participation à cette étude est volontaire. Le participant peut l'abandonner à tout moment, il suffit simplement pour cela de fermer son navigateur internet.

2 PhD researchers in Semantics and Pragmatics (1.0 fte each) Job description The PhD projects are part of the programme "Restriction and Obviation in Scalar Expressions: The semantics and pragmatics of range markers across and throughout languages, awarded to Dr. Rick Nouwen by the European Research Council (ERC). This programme investigates the division of labour between semantic and pragmatic mechanisms in creating scalar meanings. In particular, the projects in the programme study the distribution of epistemic inferences triggered by scalar expressions, across different domains of language and across different languages. It aims to derive a linguistically informed theory of the semantic-pragmatics interface. Ph.D. project 1 will examine cross-linguistic variation in numeral constructions. The main tasks in this project are: (1) to conduct large-scale language surveys and elicitation interviews resulting in a database of cross-linguistic variation in numerical constructions; (2) to extract from these data a theory of quantification and scalarity. Ph.D. project 2 will examine variation between scalar constructions in different domains of natural language (e.g. numeral, spatial, temporal). The main tasks in this project are: (1) to compare and extend existing analyses of scalar expressions throughout language; (2) to translate insights from various domains of language to a comprehensive theory of quantification and scalarity. A further task for both Ph.D. students is teaching. Both projects include research visits to experts in the field outside of Utrecht University, as well as ample opportunity for conference visits. This AiO traineeship involves taking graduate courses offered by the Dutch National Graduate School in Linguistics (LOT) as well as by the Humanities Graduate School (transferable skills). The traineeship culminates in the writing of a dissertation, potentially on the basis of published articles. Qualifications Applicants should have: - a Masters degree (or equivalent) in linguistics or a related field in hand by October 1, 2013; - demonstrable knowledge in at least one of the following areas: (formal) semantics, (formal) pragmatics, syntax, logic, philosophy of language; knowledge in more than one of these areas is highly desirable; -excellent command of English, both spoken and written; -the willingness to work in a closely collaborating team; -the ambition to pursue an academic career in an internationally oriented scientific community.
